Dream: Finding My Daughter
The following dream illustrates the need to maintain a balance between the feminine and masculine qualities of life. This dream is from a middle-aged mail who recognised the need to give more attention to his own interests (as opposed to various career demands).
Dream
In the dream I am actually a woman. I am a mother who has lost her young daughter. I search for her everywhere and finally find her working at a airport in South East Asia. She was completely exhausted. Her job at the airport was to push Jumbo jets into the sky.
Associations
Asian Airport - Industrial world, fast paced
Jumbo Jets - Large projects, my work
Daughter - Having time to stop and smell the roses, my inner life
Exhaustion - Feeling soul starved
Being a woman - Perhaps I'm seeing this from my more feminine side
Interpretation
The message here is clear. The dreamer has devoted too much energy to his career. As a result his soul life and joy is in a state of exhaustion. The dreamer needs to rethink his values. The fact that his daughter was found is a good omen. Now she needs to be taken care of.
